Respond to the question: Inessential vs Nonsuperadditive Games?

06/18/2002 06:50 PM by Ajay Behl; Inessential v/s Non-superadditive Games
Hi:
This query is in context of "coalitional value" explanations offered by Aumann & Dreze (1974) and Hart-Kurz (1983). What is the difference between a coalition structure which has a non-essential game structure w.r.t. games amongst coalitions and saying that the structure is non-superadditive? I am asking this because, I believe, the values obtained from making either of these assumptions [or adopting either of axioms] will be the same. I understand that the essence of the game will be different in both cases. Thanks! Ajay [Manage messages]
