Respond to the question: Use of game theory to explain coopetitio?

05/19/2001 06:19 PM by James Bailey (United Kingdom); Use of game theory to explain coopetition between rivals
Hi, I'm writing a masters dissertation on coopetition (when rival companies compete and cooperate at the same time on different things) - does anyone know of any articles that explain in simple and practical terms a general game theory rationale for this? There really doesn't seem to be much written on it. If you've got any other ideas on the subject - not necessarily linked to games theory, that would be appreciated as well. Many thanks, James.
