Respond to the question: Be fair or not?

02/28/2017 02:49 AM by Per; Be fair or not
n player has to decide a on fair numerical value x. Let's say this value is fair around f. All player write their value on a piece of paper face down. One of these values are selcted at random to be the actual value of x. But some players can gain by haveing x to be higher or lower than f. So a second piece of paper is turned and if the player is higher or lower than the first this player is penalized more than any gain they would have gain by a higher or lower value of x.

I think this will force the player to try to be fair, but I would like to see a game theoretical approach for this. [Manage messages]
